The Casper Ice Arena is home to the Tier II USPHL - NCDC team named the Casper Warbirds.
The name was decided by the community, and it has a historical significance which make a reference to the old Casper Air Army Base that was located in the same place that Bar Nunn, Wy. is currently located.
