Five Year Capital Improvement Plan


As a part of its annual budgeting process, the City of Casper updates its five year Capital Improvement Plan.  "Capital" includes major non-recurring expenses, which typically means equipment, vehicles, infrastructure repair, land purchases, and building renovation.   


Fiscal Year 2025 - 2029 Adopted Capital Improvement Plan
The current capital plan is a 280 page document that lists all of the capital that was approved for Fiscal Year 2025 plus many projects that are tentatively scheduled for the following four years.  

Fiscal Year 2026 - 2030 Proposed Capital Improvement Plan
In March 2025, the Casper City Council reviewed a new capital plan for the upcoming five fiscal years.  This document is submitted as a proposed update to the previous plan. If approved by Council in May 2025, the capital projects that are proposed in this plan for next year (Fiscal Year 2026) will be incorporated into next year's adopted budget.
